Who is responsible

Vexio ("Vexio", "we") is the controller of the personal data you submit through this website. To reach us about your data, write to hello@vexio.ai.

What we collect

• Form details. When you send the demo or contact form: your name, work email address, company, what you want to automate or build, the ad platforms you ticked, and the message you wrote.
• Technical data to prevent abuse. A hashed form of your IP address and your browser's user agent are stored with each submission, and a Cloudflare Turnstile check runs on our forms to tell people from bots.
• Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence.
• Analytics data, only with your consent. Our public pages load Google Tag Manager, but analytics storage stays off until you press Accept in the cookie notice. After you accept, we measure which pages are viewed, which links and buttons are used and how far demo and contact forms are completed. Form events carry the enquiry type, the interest you chose and the number of platforms ticked; your name, email, company and message are never sent to analytics.

We do not collect special-category data on purpose. Please do not put it in the message field.

Why we use it, and the legal basis

• To reply to your request and arrange a demo or a scoping call. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• To keep the site and forms secure and prevent spam. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• To understand how the site is used through analytics. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To meet legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use your details for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who processes your data

We share personal data only with providers that help us run the site and process it on our behalf:

• Cloudflare: hosting, the database and object storage that hold form submissions, and the Turnstile bot check.
• Our email delivery provider: sends the notification we receive when you submit a form and the confirmation we send you.
• Google (Tag Manager and, if enabled, Google Analytics): analytics, only after you accept.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We set no advertising or remarketing cookies.

International transfers

Vexio serves visitors in the USA, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Europe, and our providers process data in several countries. Where the law of your country restricts transfers of personal data, we use the safeguards it requires, such as standard contractual clauses where they apply. We transfer only what is needed to run the site and answer you.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and related email for as long as we need them to answer you and to manage any business relationship that follows. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form for as long as it helps us understand how the site is used.

Cookies and consent

Google Tag Manager loads on every public page, but Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics storage by default for every visitor, in every country. Until you press Accept in the cookie notice, no analytics cookie is written and the visit is only counted in a way that does not identify you. Pressing Accept grants analytics storage; pressing Decline keeps it denied. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Decline. We set no advertising or remarketing cookies at any point. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie notice link in the footer, or block these cookies in your browser.

Your choices and rights

Do not sell or share my personal information. Vexio does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you want written confirmation, or you are a California resident who wants to exercise a right, email hello@vexio.ai with the subject "Privacy request". You can also decline analytics at any time with the Cookie notice link in the footer.

Depending on where you live, you may have these rights, and we honour them for everyone:

• European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR and UK GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent at any time. You may complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
• California (CCPA as amended by CPRA) and other US states with similar laws: to know what personal information we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not collect sensitive personal information on purpose.
• Canada (PIPEDA): to know how your personal information is used, to access and correct it, to withdraw consent subject to legal limits, and to challenge our compliance; you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
• United Arab Emirates (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, the Personal Data Protection Law): access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing, and the right to withdraw consent.

To use any of these rights, write to hello@vexio.ai. We may ask you to confirm who you are before acting on a request, and we will tell you if we cannot comply and why.

Children

The site is for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when what we do changes, and the date at the top will change with it.
