Meta ads automation: campaign structure, bulk builds and reporting
Vexio works on Meta Ads end to end. For Meta ads automation, that means designing the campaign, ad set and ad structure and its naming, building ad sets and ads in bulk from a table, loading reporting into your own warehouse with consistent attribution settings, and drafting changes for your approval. Optimisation support is part of the work.

Meta Ads work, area by area.
Scope is agreed in a scoping conversation. No volumes, client names or results are published here.
-
Account structure and campaign build
Campaign, ad set and ad layout with a naming convention, built in bulk from a table. Missing or inconsistent values are caught before upload.
-
Data pipelines and reporting
Meta Ads reports pulled on a schedule, with the attribution settings and breakdowns recorded, and loaded into BigQuery or PostgreSQL.
Advertising data pipelines → -
Automation
Routine checks and scheduled jobs, for example flagging ad sets that overspend or ads that stopped delivering.
-
Agents and MCP
An agent that reads performance through MCP tools and drafts changes to budgets and ad sets. A person approves them.
AI agents → -
Ongoing optimisation support
Review of results with your team and help acting on them, agreed per engagement.
The platform
Campaign, ad set, ad: the Meta hierarchy.
Meta Ads is the advertising system for Facebook and Instagram, and the other places Meta runs ads. Campaigns are bought through Ads Manager or the Marketing API.
In the platform's own terms
- The campaign holds the objective, the ad set holds audience, placement and budget, and the ad holds the creative.
- Automated formats such as Advantage+ campaigns reduce the number of manual settings, but not the structure you still have to maintain.
- Names matter: campaign, ad set and ad names are how results are filtered and grouped later, so a naming convention is part of the structure.
- Reports depend on the attribution window and the breakdowns chosen, such as placement or age. Two reports with different settings will not match.
Official reference: Meta Marketing API documentation.
Creative tests multiply ad sets, and names decide whether you can read the results.
Testing audiences and creative produces many ad sets and ads that differ in small ways. Building them from a table keeps settings consistent, and a naming convention keeps the reporting readable. Rebuilding each one by hand in Ads Manager does neither.
Meta Ads reporting in your warehouse.
Meta Ads is one of the sources we build connectors for. We pull performance reports on a schedule with the attribution settings and breakdowns you choose, record those settings with the data and load clean tables into BigQuery or PostgreSQL in your account. Each pipeline is built per engagement. See advertising data pipelines (ETL) and the article Marketing ETL explained.
What we do
What Vexio does on Meta Ads.
Consistency is the goal: the same structure, names and settings every time. Related: AI agents and the campaign builder for bulk campaign upload.
- Agree a naming convention, then build campaigns, ad sets and ads in bulk from a table, with missing or inconsistent values caught before upload.
- Load Meta Ads reporting into your warehouse with the attribution settings recorded next to the numbers.
- Reload recent dates when Meta restates results, without duplicating rows.
- Build agents and MCP tools that draft changes for your approval, and support optimisation over time.
Questions on Meta ads automation.
Meta ads automation means using scripts, rules and agents to build and maintain campaigns, ad sets and ads, instead of doing every step in Ads Manager. Vexio builds the structure in bulk from a table, loads reporting into your warehouse and drafts changes for your approval. Meta's own Advantage+ campaigns are a separate thing.
Yes. We build campaigns, ad sets and ads from a table, check every row for missing or inconsistent values, then upload them to your account. Send a sample of your sheet through the demo form and we reply with how we would handle it.
Reports depend on the attribution window and breakdowns used. We record those settings with every load and keep them the same across accounts, so numbers can be compared. When Meta restates recent results, the pipeline reloads those dates instead of adding duplicate rows.
No. Meta Ads is a trademark of its owner and appears here as text only. Vexio is an independent company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by that owner. Its terms apply when you use its services.
